Jeff Holland Keyboards, Percussion, Backing Vocals
While most young boys were discovering the new wonders of color television, 6 year old Jeff could be found with his ear to the stereo, fascinated at the harmonies and complexities of early pop/rock. That year he got a Kimball upright piano for his birthday. He comes by it naturally, the piano that is. His father played along the Pacific Coast in club bands in the late fifties and early sixties, and his great-grandfather was famous throughout the Rockies as a saloon pianist. He quit lessons at 13 (no one in his small Idaho town could teach him anything new). He joined the jazz band in Jr. High and High School and became intrigued with rhythms and chords. He also found time to improve classically by learning the Messiah for his High School choir. He was greatly influence early on by Elton John and Chicago and later by the Eagles, Aerosmith and Boston. He has played professionally now for over twenty years in various rock bands, in piano bars, and in too many wedding receptions to count. But his real love is still the catchy rhythms of classic rock and roll.

Zeke Hurricane Guitar, Backing Vocals, Extra Sensory Perception
Zeke was born into rock and roll—literally. On the evening of his birth, his mother attended a Rolling Stones concert. The crowd, too swept up in the music, failed to notice her suddenly slump to the floor until a medical student in the audience moved over to check on her. He delivered Ms. Hurricane’s little boy just as the band began their signature tune “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction.” With rock ‘n’ roll accompanying him into the material world, it’s no wonder that Zeke developed a deeply intense love of music. Zeke has studied jazz, classical and pop music and holds a Masters Degree in Music Education. He has played in several local bands, including The Visitors, The Stand, The DeSotos, and the acoustic duo Good Bones. Zeke has been influenced by the music of Miles Davis, Johnny Cash and Claudio Monteverdi, but his true love is good old fashioned rock ‘n’ roll. Quoting the Stones, Zeke smiles and says “I know it’s only rock ‘n’ roll, but I like it.”

Craig Marti Drums, Percussion
Craig’s mother started all of her kids playing the piano when they were young, hoping that one of them would become proficient. Secretly, she wanted a child of hers to become a sophisticated, classy musician. She might have been just a little disappointed when Craig began to show a real interest in percussion. Craig joined a summer marching band his first year in Junior High School – yep, playing the drums. He has been at it ever since, with a slight hiatus when he first got married and sold his drum set to get into his first home. On his 40th birthday, his wife surprised Craig with a new set and he has been beatin’ those skins ever since. Prior to coming to Utah and joining forces with ONE, Craig played for many years with the band “Identity Crises” in Boise. Craig says that it is great to be associated with ONE - playing classic rock is just loads of fun.

Dean Shupe
Bass, Backing Vocals
The first time Dean remembers being moved by music he was about 8 years old and was watching American Bandstand. A man in a gold straitjacket was wheeled to the center of the stage and left there. The music started, and this strange, skinny man started singing “Golden Years.” That Saturday morning introduction to David Bowie changed Dean’s life musically. Every Sunday night after that he would sit in the backyard with his transistor radio and listen to Casey Kasem’s American Top Forty, dreaming about playing the guitar and being in a band. Some thirty years have passed and Dean has made music and guitar playing his passionate hobby. He loves anything to do with guitars: listening to them, building them, playing them. Dean loves playing bass in ONE, and he loves bringing to the audience the music he grew up listening to as well as the music that is shaping his life today.
